P45's Raise The Cash For Gaz !

There was a concert held to raise money for Garry at the Famous Barrowlands in Glasgow on Saturday 11th August 2007, it was arranged by former Glasgow Tiger speedway rider Barry Campbell.

The night was a big success with Barry's band "The P45's" taking centre stage, Barry said, "I've known Garry for years and even though I've never raced in the same team as him, I've raced against him more than a few times so when I heard what had happened to him I had to try and help out somehow so that's why I arranged the gig".

Barry added, "We made £1170 last Saturday which was pretty cool", " I had to pay £250 for the security on the night but my dad helped out by putting the extra cash in to take it up to £1000 and a few more people gave me money towards after the gig so I will be sending £1040 in total to Garry's Benefit Fund".

A big thankyou to all involved in the gig and to those people who came along to support a well worthy cause in Steady.
